Customer Support work from home is actually kind of fun believe it or not!
I wouldn’t have believed it myself until I tried it. I’m not even a huge fan of talking to a lot of people but there is something genuinely gratifying about being able to help someone with an issue and knowing they are so grateful that you were able to resolve their issue.
Most of the time the person calling in is in need of assistance and they are more than kind to you because they know you are the person who is going to be able to help with their problem.
I have kind of a “kill ’em with kindness” personality too so that probably helps some. Even if someone isn’t so nice to me I figure if I’m sappy sweet to them either they will hang up the phone and gag because I was so sappy sweet or their attitude will turn around and they’ll be nice back. I guess maybe I just have fun with it.
It also helps if you can support clients that are fun and/or exciting to you, which I was very fortunate to be able to do.
The other great thing about customer support through this company is that you truly, legitimately have complete flexibility over your schedule. You schedule your own time when you want to work – no one schedules it for you. Schedules are done in 30 minute intervals at times that you literally choose yourself. Depending on which client you choose to service, the available hours could be 24×7 or day and evening only.
That’s another great thing about this company is that they have several different clients for you to choose from. And that too is entirely up to you. They have many Fortune 500 and very well known name companies to choose from and some are super fun. According to their website, they include well-known cruise lines, world famous family adventure parks and a top-rated tax preparation software to name a few.
The amount of money you make is also very much up to you. The pay ranges (depending on which company you choose to work with) from $9/hour up to $16/hour and even higher than that in some cases if you are a rock star and get incentives and bonuses for outstanding service.
They do require you to work a minimum of 15 hours each week but you also have the option of working up to 40 hours a week and even more for some clients during peak seasons.
Are you seeing the dollar signs yet? Choose your hours + choose the amount of hours you work + choose the company you work for = TOTAL FREEDOM!

Until next time…
